Meet the Winemakers

Wagentristl Estate

Founded in 1888, Wagentristl is a fifth-generation family estate producing distinctive wines shaped by the unique soils and microclimate of the Leitha Mountains. Every vineyard site is treated as a world of its own, resulting in wines with distinct personality, structure, and finesse. A reflection of both terroir and tradition.

Kittenberger Estate

Founded c.1870, Kittenberger is a family-run estate in Kamptal, now led by the next generation of winemakers. Sustainability is central to their approach with chemical-free soil cultivation, native cover crops, and minimal intervention in the cellar. Their wines, express both precision and a strong sense of place.

Julius Klein Estate

Since 1788, the Klein family has been dedicated to viticulture. Although each family member takes on different responsibilities, they all share the same goal: Grüner Veltliner at the highest level. Their wines reflect the landscape and the caring hands that nurture it—shaped with meticulous care in both vineyard and cellar.

Leberl Estate

Generations of thoughtful winemaking rooted in the Leitha slopes, Leberl Estate is now led by Alexander Leberl. The family focuses on careful, sustainable viticulture and precise, age-worthy wines, known especially for structured reds and elegant Chardonnays from limestone-rich sites like Reisbühl and Tatschler..

Wagentristl Estate
